About The 141HD Wood Baseball Bat:

The 141HD wood baseball bat offers the same average handle thickness and average diameter knob (enough to rest your hand on) as the standard R141 balanced baseball bat. The only difference is the barrel diameter is just a tad smaller to enable us to add some additional durability to this model. Being a well-balanced bat, the 141 HD is so easy to swing. It's a great fit for adult leagues and for high schoolers seeking some extra pop without being burdened by barrel weight.

All HD wooden bat models are crafted from the same high quality maple and birch woods as our other standard and pro wood bat models. To gain extra durability without sacrificing pop, the tweaked barrel is offset by the wood being denser (ie. harder). Denser wood equals a stronger bat and more energy transferred to the ball.
